Find Your Warrior Pose
A few weeks ago, I attended a yoga class on the beach; it was quite challenging but the instructor was very kind and patient with the new students. I found myself trying to master the warrior pose, a move intended to promote balance and strength, while opening up the mind and body to release anxiety, stress and any battles that you are facing. When the instructor discussed the origins of the warrior pose and why it was important to master it, I know that I wasn’t going to give up because, I had a few struggles that I wanted to release into the air, the sand, the ocean.
What battles are you facing in your life? It is beautiful that you are picking up the sword for the embattled. You are extending grace and kindness to everyone. Gentle reminder that kindness starts in your own heart. Let grace and kindness flow to your body and spirit. Not everyone that you are fighting for will be in your corner. Self care means that you sometimes have to pause to pick up the sword for yourself and slay your own dragons. Your battles are also worthy. Find your warrior pose.
